THV....Looking Again

Seems KTHV/Channel 11/Little Rock is once again in the market for an evening anchor.  The opening was posted on Today's THV's website on January 10th.  So the talk now once again will be who is leaving...or reassigned once a new anchor is hired.  THV didn't shake much up when it hired KNWA anchor Matt Turner..just shuffled anchors around during different time slots. Turner was killed in a one vehicle accident in early October 2012.  Since that time THV's newscasts have looked the same before Turner moved to KTHV.

and yet they have ONE sports person on air. I agree with the above comment, its baffling to me also.

Most of the things they do over there is baffling to anyone who knows even the slightest bit about the industry.

Here's an idea. Why not get some good-looking interns from a local college (male and female). Hey, they will do it for free and that is a station manager's dream, free help. All they have to do is read the teleprompter.

If Liz Massey ever leaves ch. 11, I'm switching the tv off! It's Craig O'Neal who needs to go. He was a better fit on radio.

Liz Massey, Dawn Scott, & Craig O'Neill all need to go. The ladies' makeup & wardrobe are awful. Craig has a nice voice but visually he is not appealing.

Perhaps maybe they could hire some seasoned reporters from other markets that actually know how to talk, how to write and how to interview. Or they could keep up with their old ways and keep hiring people with know skills at all because they figure the viewers are all stupid.
